Smiles and Promises XLIX

As I told Topher in one of our chat conversations, I’m really inspired lately. I don’t know why–other than of course I’m in awe of the Lord’s grace and love, what else could there be? I’m just happy about life’s great possibilities, and there’s so much to smile about.

And for someone who spent so much time practicing her smile, I’m proud to show you a smile that I did not have to try hard to produce. Yey inspiration!

Latest updates on my life include working on a website for our youth ministry, writing again for my favorite news website, and taking photography more seriously (I bought a thrifted photography coffeetable book, but it still costs a lot compared to the budget I allot for “the simple things that make me happy,” so yeah, default dieting this week!)

And just for kicks (and a treat for my student followers out there–feeling sikat na haha), here’s a treasure I unearthed from my Multiply while downloading my media content (don’t forget to download yours! You only have until December 1 to do so!)

With my friend, Manel, back in junior high

(Yes, I was thin. Wait ’til I get thin like that again.)

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.

Psalm 63:3-5
