I promise I’ll write a lengthier entry about what happened this weekend (oh, and that podcast review too…), but for now, here’s what my Thursday and Saturday looked like. To summarize it in one word: COFFEE BEAN.
Oh, yeah, and thesis too.
Thursday, September 8
Itinerary: Robinsons Galleria (token-buying at The Face Shop and lunch at Hainanese Rice), Starbucks Temple Drive for Tricia Gosingtian interview, Pia’s condo for some Rancho/Three Idiots loving, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf somewhere in Ortigas for thesis writing ’til 2 in the morning.
At this point after the interview, we didn’t have a firm “Yes” from both David and Patty yet. I e-mailed them while working at Coffee Bean and they both replied at that very same hour, granting us interview schedules on the same day. More “journalism” miracles!!! Ah, galing mo Lord. ❤
Saturday, September 10
Itinerary: Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Salcedo Park for Patty Laurel interview, a 10-hour waiting time in between (camping at Coffee Bean, leaving for Resorts World by 4:30, dinner at Stackers, token-shopping at Giordano and the snack place near the cinemas), late-night Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Resorts World interview with David Guison.
A single tweet says a lot about a person, albeit not his/her entire personality. Just sayin’ 🙂
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Update: Patty blogged about us!!! Well, not really. She blogged to thank her blog readers, referring to our interview with her last Saturday. Nung umulan ng kagandahan at kabaitan, nasalo nya lahat!!!
Update #2: Apparently, another person blogged about us!!! This time, it’s a respondent of our thesis survey, and we were so surprised that he actually blogged about our questionnaire. So weird. Are we missing something while doing a requirement in order to graduate? Haha
